Hi there and welcome April.

We’ve still got as few dozen eclipse glasses left so stop in and get some for the family and friends. While your dogs may not fully appreciate the eclipse glasses, they are going to need you get them their yearly licenses. Remember that today is the last day, April 1st, to license them without the late penalty. If you’re late, it’s ok, please license them anyway.

4/1 April Fools- Careful out there! ��

4/2 Delinquent dog licenses now cost $15 for fixed and $19 for intact. 

4/3 Voters- Last day for voters to file petitions with town clerk for reconsideration or rescission of articles voted on at school meeting (within 30 days of the meeting). 17 V.S.A. 2661(b)

4/4 Voters- Last day for voters to file petitions with town clerk for reconsideration or rescission of articles voted on at town meeting (within 30 days of the meeting). 17 V.S.A. 2661(b)

4/10 Board of Abatement meeting: 7 p.m.

4/13 Trout season begins- get your licenses on-line or here at the office https://vtfishandwildlife.com/newsroom 

4/14 Candidates- Local candidates who have spent or raised $500 or more must file a final report liquidating all funds within 40 days of the election using the SOS CFIS: https://campaignfinance.vermont.gov

4/22 Major party candidates for August primary- First day to file petitions and consent forms for candidates who wish to be on the ballot for a major party primary. Independent candidates for November General Election (including presidential candidates)- First day petitions and consent forms can be filed for the November General Election.
